Construction on the left side of the Corridor 10 highway section from Horgoš to Novi Sad will start this Tuesday.
This comes after a contract was signed with a consortium of Serbian construction companies headed by Belgrade-based road construction company PZP Beograd, the Ministry of Infrastructure announced.
The contract will be signed at the Serbian government building at noon, in the presence of ministers and representatives of Corridor 10, the company established to manage the highway's construction.
In addition to PZP Beograd, the consortium that will build the left lane of the Horgoš-Novi Sad section also includes Putevi Užice, Planum and Borovica.
The consortium's price of RSD 10bn and a construction deadline of 270 days was chosen as the best tender bid.
