About 1m EUR will be invested in that sports-recreation center at the foot of Oplenac.

The complex includes one swimming pool at 800 square meters, which is shaped as number 8. The depth of the pool ranges between 1.2 and 2 meters, and it also has underwater lights for night swimming. There is a small island in the center of the pool, and it will soon have a palm tree. Next to that pool is a small, round swimming pool for kids, of which surface is 90 square meters.

- Construction of this complex commenced in May 2008. I decided to have a sports-recreation center built in the region I was born in, while the swimming pool complex and the company were named after the Baikal lake that left great impression on me – Zoran Bubanja, the owner of company "Baikal".

Swimming pools are equipped with "Astral" water filtering systems imported from Spain. Five pumps in the large pool and one pump in the small pool filter the water six times a day.

Major share of construction works were carried out by company "Nedić" from Aranđelovac. There are lifeguards on the swimming pools, and we have also provided showers, locker rooms, toilets, as well as free-of-charge use of parasols and deck chairs.

Zoran Bubanja says that the sports-recreation center will be able to receive 1,200 people once all the works are done.

In addition, company "Baikal" plans to have a new pool with toboggans and sports fields for mini football, volleyball and tennis built in 2010.
