The building of the university clinical centre is a monoblock atrium type, with 17 dilatation units, 14 floors (4 underground, and 10 on the ground) with the total constructed area of 170,000 m2.

§ The basic structural system is reinforced concrete with the structure produced in a classical way by casting in situ.

§ From the functional point of view, the building is divided into three organizational parts: admission of patients (diagnosis, out-patients clinics), attendance to patients (surgery halls, X-ray) and hospitalization (intensive care, etc.).

§ The hospital capacity is 1,548 beds, but due to the flexibility c the designed system and favourable technological organization the number can be increased to 3,000 beds. The building has 40 surgery theatres, 90 intensive care rooms, 50 various endoscopies and the area of 2,500 m2 under X-Rays. The building is totally air-conditioned.
