Information

The motorway passes through two federal states Malaka and Muar and is part of the trunk route that connects Kuala Lumpur with Singapore. It is passing through rolling country, intersected by rivers and swamps.

§ Within this section 37 bridges were built, the biggest one across the river Muar and 334 m long. All the bridges were founded on piles at a depth of 20 to 50 m. Out of the total length of 56.16 km of motorway, 25 km has a continuous reinforced concrete pavement, and the remaining part is asphalt-concrete.

§ The other important characteristics are:

b) Piner profiles and shapes 356 mm 10,000 m,
c) reinforced concrete 305x305 mm and prestressed 40x405 mm 35,000 m,
d) Bakau wooden 77,000 m,
