The Museum is located in the most beautiful part of Novi Beograd, at the confluence of the rivers Sava and Danube. The shape of the building is designed as a polymorphous crystal.

The original architectural composition and specific structure demanded for the flexible technology of the building and excellent organizational abilities of the Contractor. The building is equipped with the most modern museum devices and installations.
The structure of the building is a reinforced concrete skeleton with diagonally placed girders in two directions. The girders are densely perforated to allow for installation, ventilation and heating ducts.
The foundation is shallow, on spot footing. The constructed area is 3,375 m2.
